Suzette Wilson Samuels is a seasoned, passionate leader who leverages her decades of experience working in the event industry to shape production strategy and process at Drury Design. She has led teams of hundreds while managing and producing some of the industry’s biggest and most prestigious B2B events, in addition to early years of festival production. Suzette has produced broadcast, multi-location, live and digital events for over 15 years. The events she has led have won numerous industry awards but her greatest achievement is the ability to retain a calm resolve throughout high paced, ever changing situations.

It should be no surprise that Suzette was born and raised in the Caribbean islands of Trinidad & Tobago, home of Carnival which is the greatest show on earth. Suzette meets every person and task with a quintessentially Island vibe, that is to say, with the coolness of a sea breeze and deep strength of the ocean. She’s a mentor, leader, and visionary with a superb ability to influence and nurture professional (and personal) growth amongst her teams. Suzette always makes time to connect with her clients, peers and partners with an aptitude toward solution driven collaboration. Suzette’s goal is to help build a community and culture of empathy and diversity.

As the VP of Project Strategy and Solutions, she focuses on client services, industry trends, business development and overall implementation of production strategy and tactics for live and digital events. On a personal note, Suzette continues to consult, volunteer and work with Caribbean based organizations worldwide and wants to continue to work with her peers to elevate the carnival entertainment industry through music, art, design and edutainment programs.
