Howard Weiss serves as Head of Entertainment and Events for AREA15, Las Vegas’ newest immersive art, events, and entertainment district. Offering live events, immersive activations, art installations, and much more. AREA15 is a destination that will attract locals and tourists of all ages seeking to make a connection in a modern way in an ever-changing landscape of new and extraordinary experiences. AREA15 also offers over 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space for corporate and private events.

As Head of Events and Entertainment for AREA15, Weiss is responsible for overseeing AREA15-owned events and programming, working with 3rd party producers and concert promoters, and executing large-scale corporate and private events throughout the venue.

Weiss brings over sixteen years of experience in entertainment bookings, ticketing, promotions, marketing, nightlife strategy & operations, and a track record of booking and marketing successful concerts, shows, and events that drive revenue and increase brand awareness. In addition, he has a solid history of building large F&B teams that are actively engaged and focused on execution and exceptional customer service. A history of successful openings, which includes new restaurants, bars, pools, nightclubs & theaters.

As a Penn State Alumni, Howard is an active board member for the School of Hospitality Management. He often returns to the school to influence the direction of the program and work directly with the faculty on industry updates and growth opportunities. He is most rewarded in this role while working with the students and through many guest-speaking engagements where he can share his experiences and suggestions for upcoming graduates looking for a career in the Hospitality industry.
