President and Creative Director, Something Vintage Rentals

Dawn Crothers is the President and Creative Director of Something Vintage
Rentals, a specialty rental company with trend-forward inventory that fully
embraces color, tinsel, and statement pieces like 1970s phone booths and
vintage orange TVs. 
Crothers started Something Vintage in 2012 after collecting vintage china
and dining chairs for her own wedding and saw the need for specialty rental
companies in the Washington DC market.  She had a career as an
intelligence analyst at the CIA at the time.  While she loved being an
analyst, she decided it was time to do something more creative and took
the leap to pursue Something Vintage full time in 2015.  She uses her
training as an intelligence analyst to assess new trends in interiors and
fashion to inspire her designs for new rental pieces and source unique
inventory.  
Dawn resides in Cheverly, Maryland with her husband, 2 children, her pug
Peebles, and 8 chickens.
