RAYMOND BROWN
VP of Account Services
MAS Event + Design

Raymond Brown, VP of Account Services at MAS, mixes results-driven tenacity and bold creative strategy with an obsession for relationship building that fosters authentic and long-lasting client partnerships. With over 25 years of experience, Raymond prides himself on his track record of establishing award-winning programs that have netted client health and growth.

Raymond’s extensive background in event strategy is a key factor in winning new business and securing long term account relationships. Ray helped secure the coveted BMW account for two different agencies (R/A Performance Group and Creative Group), a relationship that lasted for over 18 years where he managed all aspects from strategic oversight, event planning and creative direction. Trudy Hardy, Head of Region Americas, BMW Motorrad, explains that “The programs Ray creates are cleverly wrapped around the core of their business while adding layers of entertainment, cultural engagement and fun which has made him an essential part of the BMW business for the last 18 years.”

Since joining MAS in 2018, Raymond has secured new business areas in aviation, banking, automotive, and real estate. He continues to play a pivotal role on all pitch teams. SiuYin, Senior Corporate Director of Global Sales at Rosewood Hotel Group, says “Ray’s commitment to driving a successful experience is not only based on his relationships with his accounts, but also with his partnerships with his hoteliers. Ray is strategic, professional, and passionate about delivering on exceptional programs to provide value for all stakeholders.”

Ray is an outstanding mentor and strategic champion, to his team at MAS and beyond. This past spring he was a judge for Event Marketer’s collaborative brainchild with SEPHORA and MAS, the Brand X Challenge competition. This extensive competition invites aspiring design and architecture undergrads across 100 colleges and universities to participate in a hypothetical brand experience campaign for SEPHORA. Additionally, Ray is part of the National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals whose main goal is to provide mentorship for African Americans in the meetings industry.
