Through the power of creating excellent guest experiences, William P. Miller's sense of style, knowledge of design and "insider" entertainment contacts have all placed him in the upper echelon of the special events industry. Known for his creative vision, versatility and ability to execute, Miller has traveled the world producing breath-taking events—from conventions and intimate receptions to spectacular galas and lavish weddings.

His trend-setting event designs and spectacular events have appeared in national publications such as Brides Magazine, People Magazine, GQ, Glamour, Life & Style, Ebony, Jet, InStyle and many others. As an icon in the event industry, he has been featured on the cover of Event Therapy magazine and has been recognized as one of BizBash's top 500 event professionals in the United States.

A native of Chicago, Miller is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a degree in marketing and international business. Prior to his career in the special events industry, for 20 years, Miller worked in a variety of management, marketing and customer service positions with United Airlines, where several successful consumer initiatives were under his direction.

Deciding to pursue his passion for design, home entertainment and orchestrating excellent guest experiences, Miller founded his production company, W. P. Miller Special Events, in 1999. The company has grown to become a highly sought-after "one-stop-shop," handling all aspects of event production. Over the years, he has produced events for earning the trust of well-known celebrities, politicians and respected corporate leaders, including Oscar inner Mira Sorvino, Kim Whitley, Adrienne Maloof, Niecy Nash, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Holly Robinson Peete, Senators Kristen Gillibrand, Tim Kaine, Harry Reid, Cory Booker, Vice President Kamala Harris and Former First Ladies Michelle Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton.

When not planning an event, you will find Miller designing custom stationery or table linen, manufacturing his candle line, mentoring new event professionals or supporting at-risk inner-city youth.
