Allison Doughty

College Football Playoff, Director of Events and Hospitality Services

Since joining the College Football Playoff as its first director of events and hospitality services, Allison Doughty has helped make Championship Weekend a memorable experience for hundreds of thousands of fans. Her love of football stems from her father, a sportswriter for more than 50 years, and she began attending college football games before her first birthday. Allison was director of football operations and event management at the Atlantic Coast Conference, where she put together events such as the ACC Legends program and ACC Football Championship Game. She interned at the Peach Bowl and worked in football and baseball at the University of Virginia, where she received a bachelor’s degree in history followed by a master’s degree in sports administration from Ohio University. Doughty serves as a volunteer in the community with the Ronald McDonald House and the Birthday Party Project.


A native of Roanoke, Va., Allison is a member of the Women in Sports and Entertainment (WISE), Women Leaders in College Sports, National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and a Sports Management Institute (SMI) graduate.
